Normandie / Normandy / Normandía
Je n’ai pas écrit d’article ces sept derniers jours car j’étais en vacances en Normandie, la région qui se situe au-dessus de la Bretagne. J’ai changé de ville et d’hôtel presque tous les jours et j’ai découvert beaucoup d’endroits intéressants dont je vais parler aujourd’hui. Je précise que les photos qui suivent ne sont pas de moi.
• Dimanche 2 avril, je suis partie de chez moi pour aller vers Granville. Sur le chemin, je suis passée par la roche d’Oëtre (voir photo 1️⃣) où j’ai fait une petite randonnée de 2,7 km en suivant un des parcours proposés. Cette roche a la particularité de ressembler à un visage humain vu de profil. Je suis ensuite allée à Granville.
• Lundi 3 avril, sur le chemin pour Cherbourg, je suis allée à Biville afin de voir le calvaire des Dunes (voir photo 2️⃣) qui est un bel endroit. Ce sont de grandes dunes qui partent de la ville et qui descendent vers la mer. Ensuite, je suis allée voir le nez de Jobourg (voir photo 3️⃣), mais malheureusement il y avait du brouillard donc je n’ai rien vu et la mer était elle aussi cachée par le brouillard quelques mètres plus bas. L’après-midi je suis allée à la Cité de la Mer à Cherbourg. J’ai visité le sous-marin Le Redoutable (voir photo 4️⃣), le plus grand sous-marin visitable au monde, qui est très impressionnant ; j’ai visité l’aquarium qui possède un aquarium de 11 m de profondeur et j’ai fait l’attraction On a marché sous la mer qui aurait pu être beaucoup mieux si les images qui étaient montrées étaient de meilleure qualité, car ça faisait ancien et le son était plutôt mauvais.
• Mardi 4 avril, je suis allée à Barfleur pour voir la pointe de Barfleur et je suis montée en haut du phare de Gatteville (voir photo 5️⃣) qui comporte 365 marches. Puis, l’après-midi, je suis allée à la pointe du Hoc (voir photo 6️⃣), là où il y a énormément de cratères dus aux obus de la 2nde Guerre mondiale. Ensuite, je suis allée voir le cimetière américain de Colleville-sur-Mer (voir photo 7️⃣) et je suis passée à côté du musée Overlord (voir photo 8️⃣) où j’ai vu des tanks sur le bord de la route. Par la suite, je suis allée à Longues-sur-Mer, un endroit où il reste des batteries (voir photo 9️⃣) de la 2nde Guerre mondiale. Pour finir, je suis allée à Arromanches en passant par Port-en-Bessin.
• Mercredi 5 avril, je suis allée à Caen en passant par Ouistreham pour voir le Pegasus Bridge (voir photo 1️⃣0️⃣), un pont qui a failli être détruit pendant la 2nde Guerre mondiale. A Caen, j’ai marché à côté du château de Caen (voir photo 1️⃣1️⃣), puis l’après-midi je suis allée à Deauville avant d’aller à Honfleur.
• Jeudi 6 avril, je me suis promenée dans Honfleur puis je suis partie au Havre en passant sur le pont de Normandie (voir photo 1️⃣2️⃣). L’après-midi, je suis allée à Fécamp voir le cap fagnet, les falaises et le phare, et pour finir, je suis allée à Étretat.
• Vendredi 7 avril, j’ai fait une randonnée de 13,5 km en partant d’Étretat en allant jusqu’à Yport. Je suis passée au bord des falaises pendant toute la randonnée et j’ai vu l’aiguille creuse d’Étretat (voir photo 1️⃣3️⃣). J’ai descendu un escalier qui partait du haut de la falaise d’Amont et qui arrivait sur la plage. Une fois arrivée en bas de l’escalier, je suis passée dans un tunnel dans la falaise appelé le Tunnel du Chaudron qui donnait sur une autre plage. Puis je suis allée à la pointe de la courtine et j’ai vu une plage appelée la plage du Tilleul par un trou dans la falaise (voir photo 1️⃣4️⃣) je suis allée voir rapidement le centre-ville d’Yport.
• Samedi 8 avril, je suis allée dans quelques boutiques de souvenirs d’Étretat puis l’après-midi je suis revenue chez moi.

I have not written an article in the last seven days because I was on vacation in Normandy, the region that is above Brittany. I changed my city and hotel almost every day and discovered a lot of interesting places that I will talk about today. The pictures that follow are not from me.
• Sunday, April 2nd, I left home to go to Granville. On the way, I passed by the Roche d’Oëtre (see picture 1️⃣) where I made a small hike of 2.7 km following one of the courses proposed. This rock has the peculiarity of resembling a human face seen in profile. I then went to Granville.
• Monday, April 3rd, on the way to Cherbourg, I went to Biville to see the Calvary of the Dunes (see photo 2️⃣) which is a beautiful place. They are big dunes that leave the city and go down to the sea. Then I went to see the nose of Jobourg (see photo 3️⃣), but unfortunately there was fog so I did not see anything and the sea Was also hidden by the fog a few meters below. In the afternoon I went to the City of the Sea in Cherbourg. I visited the submarine Le Redoutable (see photo 4️⃣), the largest visable submarine in the world, which is very impressive; I visited the aquarium which has an aquarium of 11 m depth and I made the attraction On a marché sous la mer (we walked under the sea) which could have been much better if the videos that were shown were of better quality because it looked like old and the sound was pretty bad.
• Tuesday, April 4th, I went to Barfleur to see the point of Barfleur and I climbed up the lighthouse of Gatteville (see photo 5️⃣) which has 365 steps. Then, in the afternoon, I went to Pointe du Hoc (see photo 6️⃣), where there are a lot of craters due to the shells of the Second World War. Then I went to see the American c emetery of Colleville-sur-Mer (see photo 7️⃣) and I passed by the Overlord museum (see photo 8️⃣) where I saw tanks on the roadside. Later, I went to Longues-sur-Mer, a place where there are batteries (see photo 9️⃣) of the Second World War. Finally, I went to Arromanches via Port-en-Bessin.
• On Wednesday, April 5th, I went to Caen via Ouistreham to see the Pegasus Bridge (see photo 1️⃣0️⃣), a bridge that was almost destroyed during the Second World War. In Caen, I walked beside the castle of Caen (see photo 1️⃣1️⃣), then in the afternoon I went to Deauville before going to Honfleur.
• Thursday, April 6th, I walked in Honfleur and then left for Le Havre, passing over the Pont de Normandie (see photo 1️⃣2️⃣). In the afternoon, I went to Fécamp to see Cape Fagnet, the cliffs and the lighthouse, and finally, I went to Étretat.
• Friday, April 7th, I made a 13.5 km trek from Etretat to Yport. I passed by the cliffs during the whole hike and saw the hollow needle of Étretat (see photo 1️⃣3️⃣). I descended a staircase which started from the top of the cliff of Amont and reached the beach. Once we reached the bottom of the stairs, I passed through a tunnel in the cliff called the Tunnel of the Cauldron that looked out onto another beach. Then I went to the tip of the curtain and saw a beach called the lime beach by a hole in the cliff (see photo 1️⃣4️⃣) I went quickly to see the downtown of Yport.
• On Saturday, April 8th, I went to a few souvenir shops in Étretat and then in the afternoon I returned home.
